Privacy policy

Who is responsible

Contact form

If you write to us, we collect your name, email address, school (if you give it) and message.

  • What for: to reply to you and, if needed, continue the conversation.
  • Legal basis: your consent, given when you send the message (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
  • How long: as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and no more than one year after the last message. After that it is deleted.

Server logs

Like any website, the server records each visit, with the page, time, browser and IP address. The IP address is stored shortened, without its last block, so it can't be used to identify any particular connection.

  • What for: to keep the website secure and to know how many visits it gets.
  • Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the Regulation).
  • How long: 14 days. The statistics drawn from them are totals, such as "visits per day", with no data about anyone.

Who else has access

Data is not sold or passed on to anyone. It is only processed on our behalf by the server hosting company (netcup GmbH, in Germany) and the email provider (DonDominio, in Spain). Both are within the European Union, and the data does not leave it.

Cookies and tracking

This website doesn't use cookies, third-party analytics or anything that follows you from one page to the next. Nor does it load fonts, videos or scripts from other companies.

Your rights

You can access your data, correct it, ask for it to be deleted, object to us processing it, restrict its use, ask for a copy and withdraw your consent at any time. Just write to contact@ukognos.com. If you think we haven't handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

This policy covers only the uKognos website. Each app has its own privacy policy, which you'll find inside the app.
